Tamang Heritage Trail Trekking is the popular and recently opened trekking route in Langtang region.The Langtang valley called “the valley of glaciers”. This trail was developed by the Tourism for Rural Poverty Alleviation Program under United Nations Development Project (UNDP).The Langtang Valley was designated the first national park of Nepal in 1971.This is a great introduction to trekking in Nepal among some of the most beautiful scenery in the whole country-with rich old/heritage tamang culture. Many years ago Nepal-fought with Tibet for salt and some of the biggest areas where this war took place is in the Langtang Region of Nepal.This area is connected to Tibet and the trails in this region were used by traders from Tibet bartering in Salt and mountain goats for meat (changra) with foodstuffs from the south.
The Langtang valley populated by Sherpa and Tamang families are very rich culture and religion.This trek presents the panoramic views of Langtang II [6556 M.],Langtang Lirung (7245m), Langtang Kerung, Chumse Danda ridge (5122m), Ganesh Himal[7210 M.],Gangajamuna,Paldor peak, Shringi Himal,Rhododendron Forest, Alpine landscape , Glaciers and high altitude lakes, Sanjen Himal ranges and Tibetan mountains ranges. Glaciers of varying sizes and high altitude lakes namely Pravati kuda.

Day 02.Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Day 03.Kathmandu to Syabrubesi 1,460m.by bus/private transpotation.
Day 04.Syabrubesi to Gatlang 2240m.
Day 05.Gatlang to Tatopani 2640 m.
Day 06.Tatopani to Thuman 2300 m.via Naghthali 3123 m.the best view point.
Day 07.Thuman to Timbure Visit Rasuwagadi 1770 m.
Day 08.Timbure to Bridim 2290 m.
Day 09.Bridim to Syabrubesi 1460 m.
Day 10.Syabrubesi to Kathamndu by bus/private transpotation.
