Bhairab Kunda Trekking

Asian Mountain Adventure would like to offer new areas and routes with totally pristine nature, unspoiled culture, and splendid scenes of the Himalayan range from the closest distance possible. There are many unexplored and unidentified trekking routes in Nepal waiting to be discovered. Due to large concentrations and over exploitation, the old trekking regions like Langtang, Annapurna, and Sagarmatha have suffered a heavy impact both environmentally and socially.

Bhairab Kunda Trekking is a bit away from inhabitation through the simplest and fine rural mountain villages combined with the splendid beauty of the surrounding landscape and snowcapped peaks that have associated a picture of all of Nepal’s glory and charm offers a unique opportunity to get the trekking fun with different and everlasting experience. This trek offers you the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains and the villages covered with snow.

The settlements along the route form Newars, Gurungs and Sherpas as majorities. The top of Bhirav Kunda offers an excellent view of Rolwalling Range, Jugal Himal and the Tibetan Himalayan Ranges. In the Sanskrit language, Bhairav Kunda means holy lake. The lake is named after the destructive image of Lord Shiva, the Bhirav. Lying to the northeast of Kathmandu, Bhairav Kunda is near Nepal-Tibetan border. Balephi on the Araniko Highway is the starting point for the trek. We would recommend the most remarkable program, all designed to help you best get the Himalayan spirit with fulfilling traveling experience.
