Himlung Himal Expedition (7126m)
Himlung Himal (7126m), is one of the recently opened peaks for climbing and is located between Manaslu and Annapurna ranges. This expedition takes you through remote villages to Nepal & Tibet boarder. Passing through two interesting Tibetan villages of Nar and Phu, Base Camp will be established at the height of (4,900m), which is located at the upper border of one of pastures belonged to Phu.
Normally three high camps will be established to reach the summit: Camp I at the height of (5,450m). Camp II at (6,000m) and the Camp 3 at (6,350m). Himlung was just opened in 2001 by the Nepalese government and since then we have been organizing expeditions for interested climbers.
Day to Day Itinerary:
DAY 01: Arrivel in Kathmandu. Transfer to Hotel.
DAY 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley.
DAY 03: Rest and preparaion day in Kathmandu.
Day 04: By bus/Private veicle From Kathmandu to Bhulbule, (800m), 7/8 hrs.
Day 05: Drive from Bhulbule to Koto (2,675m), 6/7 hrs.
Day 06: Koto Trek to Meta (3,560m), 6-7 hrs.
Day 07: Meta Trek to Kyang (3,740 m), 6-7 hrs.
Day 08: Kyang Trek to Phu (4,050m), 5-6 hrs.
Day 09: Phu Trek to Himlung Base Camp (4900m), 4-5 hrs.
Day 10-22: Climbing period for Himlung.
Day 23: Himlung Basecamp Trek to Phu (4,050m), 3-4 hrs.
Day 24: Phu Trek to Meta (3,560m), 5-7 hrs.
Day 25: Meta Trek to Koto (2,675m), 5-6 hrs.
Day 26: Drive back to BesiSahar and continue Drive to Kathmandu, (10-12 hrs), (1,350m).
Day 27: Rest day in Kathmandu Hotel.
Day 28: Departure your Destination.
Note: It is possible to combine with some other activities such as your Desire. The itinerary can be customized according to your duration of holiday.
