Pachermo Peak Climbing (6273m)
Asian Mountain Adventure offers a climb of Pachermo Peak Climbing “Parchemuche”, a name by which, as far as I can find out, no one else knows it! The peak, which lies due south of the Tesi Lapcha, is unnamed on the Schnider Rolwaling Himal map, but is given a spot height of (6273m). Seen from the pass the mountain is an attractive but straightforward snow peak with a well defined north by north-west ridge rising from the relatively flat, crevassed glacier astride the Tesi Lapche. To the west of the ridge the face forms a uniform snow slope broken by crevasses and small seracs rising from the rocky lower buttresses above the Drolambau Glacier.
The mountain had an interesting early history, some of which was outlined in 1955 by Dennis Davis and Phil Boultgee, members of the highly successful Merseyside led by Alf Gregory. As well as climbing nineteen summits in and around the Rolwaling Valley, their explorations took them to the head of the Drolambau, where numerous peaks were climbed, up the Ripimu Glacier and into the Menlung Basin via the Ripimu La. It is a straightforward snow peak first climbed in 1955. This is unnamed on the Schneider Rolwaling Himal map, but is given a spot height of (6,273m). The Mandala Lamasangu to Everest map calls the peak Parchermo, which is quite possibly a spelling mistake. Both Shipton’s and Gregory’s expedition surveys gave the peak an altitude close to (6,318m). The Rolwsaling valley is the main access to Pachermo.

Day 06: Dovan Trek to Beding [3,690m], 5-6 hrs. Overnight in lodge
Day 07: Beding Trek to Na Gaon [4,180 m], 4-5 hrs. Overnight in lodge
Day 08: Acclimatization day at Na Gaon. Overnight in lodge
Day 09: Na Gaon Trek to chugima [4,820m], 4-5 hrs. Overnight in lodge
Day 10: Chugima Trek to Drolambau Glacier [4,700m], 6-7 hrs. Overnight in lodge
Day 11: Drolambau Glacier Trek to Noisy Knob Camp [5,400m], 6-7 hrs. Overnight in lodge
Day 12: Noisy Knob Camp Trek to Pachermo Base Camp via the Tashi Labtsa pass [5,700 m], 5 -6 hrs. Overnight in lodge
Day 13: Pachermo Base Camp to Climbing of Pachermo [6,187m] & down to BC [5,700 m], 8-9 hrs. Overnight in lodge
Day 14: Pachermo Base Camp Trek to Thyangbo Camp [4,250 m], 5-6 hrs. Overnight in lodge
Day 15: Thyangbo Camp Trek to Namche Bazzar [3,440 m], 5-6 hrs. Overnight in lodge
Day 16: Namche Bazzar Trek to Lukla [2,810m], 6-7 hrs. Overnight in lodge
Day 17: Lukla Fly to Kathmandu,35 minute [1,300m]. Overnight in lodge
Day 18: Rest Day in Kathmandu. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 19: Transfer to Airport for final Departure.
