Gosaikunda Helambu Trekking area is populated chiefly by people who call themselves Sherpa and people of the Tamang ethnicity. The residents in this area have cultural ties Tibet and their customs and traditions adhere to a Buddhist way of life in the beautiful hills. Gosaikunda Helambu Trekking Day to Day Itinerary:
Day 01 : Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 02 : Rest Day in Kathmandu. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 03 : Drive to Dhunche (2800m), 8/9hrs by local bus. Overnight in lodge.
Day 04 : Dhunche trek to Sing Gompa (3669m), 5/6 hrs. Overnight in lodge.
Day 05 : Sing Gompa trek to Gosainkunda (4380m) via lauribinayak (3901m) , 6/7 hrs. Overnight in lodge.
Day 06 : Gosainkunda trek to Crossing Lauribinayak Pass (4600m) then Ghopte–6/7 hrs. Overnight in lodge.
Day 07 : Ghopte trek to Tharepati (3610m), 5/6 hrs. Overnight in lodge.
Day 08 : Tharepati trek to Melamchi Gaun (2500m)–crossing Melamchi River and climb up to Tarkeghyang (2530m). Overnight in lodge.
Day 09 : Tarke-ghyang trek to Sermathang (2550m), 5/6 hrs. Overnight in lodge.
Day 10 : Sermathang trek to Melamchi Pool Bazar (1830m), 5/6 hrs. Overnight in lodge.
Day 11 : Drive back to Kathmandu through small city of Dhulikhel and Banepa- 5/6 hrs. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 12 : Rest day in Kathmandu. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 13 : Depart to the airport for your international flight.
