Tibet Everest base camp trekking
Tibet Everest base camp trekking trip starts with drive from Kathmandu through the friendship bridge. After completion of the immigration formalities at Zhangmu we drive to Nyalam, the first night. Next day we continue drive to Old Tingri and start trekking to North Everest Base Camp. The trek will follow the historic expedition route from Old Tingri to Rongbuk crossing over the Langma La pass-16,900 feet. Following the route to North Everest Base Camp you will have enough time to explore the Rongbuk glacier below the massive north-face of Mt. Everest. After having the magnificent views of worlds highest mountain scenery you will be back to Kathmandu. The trek portion will be supported by a expert Nepalese Sherpa team. Our professional chef will prepare all meals and other field staff will take care of camping and transport to the supplies (camping /kitchen materials and luggage) for which we use yaks and/or truck.

Day to Day Itinerary:
OPTION 01:
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to the Hotel. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 02: Rest day in Kathmandu. Overnight in hotel.
Day 03: fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa (3650m) by plane. Overnight in lodge
Day 04: Sightseeing of Potala palace, Tibet Museum, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street.
Day 05: Tour of Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery.
Day 06: Drive from Lhasa to Gyantse (3950m) via Yamdrok-tso Lake.
Day 07: Drive from Gyantse to Old Tingri via Shigatse.
Day 08: Old Tingri Trek to Lungthang (4510m).
Day 09: Lungthang Trek to Lamna La (5150m).
Day 10: Lamna La Trek to Zommug (4790m).
Day 11: Zommug Trek to Rongbuk base camp and EBC (5150m).
Day 12: Drive from EBC/Rongbuk to Sakya via Shegar and Lhatse.
Day 13: Drive from Sakya to Lhasa.
Day 14: Final departure from Lhasa to kathmandu.
Day 15: Rest Day in Kathmandu.Hotel.
Day 16: Transfer to Airport for final Depature.
Option 02:
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to the Hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Rest day in Kathmandu. Overnight in hotel.
Day 03: Drive to Border and drive to Nyalam. Overnight at lodge.
Day 04: Rest Day in Nyalam. Overnight at lodge.
Day 05: Nyalam Drive to Tingri. Overnight at lodge.
Day 06: Tingri Trek to Lungthang (4510m). Overnight at lodge.
Day 07: Lungthang Trek to Lamna La (5150m). Overnight at lodge.
Day 08: Lamna La Trek to Zommug (4790m). Overnight at lodge.
Day 09: Zommug Trek to Rongbuk (5000m). Overnight at lodge.
Day 10: Acclimatization day in Rongbuk, explore Rongbuk region including Rongbuk Glacier. Overnight at lodge.
Day 11: Rongbuk Trek to EBC and back to Rongbuk followed by a drive to Xegar (4150m). Overnight at lodge.
Day 12: Rongbuk Drive to Shigatse. Overnight at lodge.
Day 13: Sightseeing in Shigatse and drive to Gyantse. Overnight at lodge.
Day 14: Gyantse Drive to Lhasa. Overnight at lodge.
Day 15/16: Sightseeing in Lhasa. Overnight at lodge.
Day 17: Drop to Lhasa airport fly to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.
Day 18: Rest Day in Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.
Day 19: Transfer to Airport for final Departure.
