Everest base camp trekking begins at Luk-la Hilary airport after 35 minutes scenic flight from Kathmandu or Manthali now a days in mid season of Autumn and spring will fly from Manthali because due to air traffic in Kathmandu international Airport. In this trek you can experience different mountain views and different land structure of Nepal. The trail follows Dudhkoshi river Valley to Namche, Namche is gateway to Everest valley and a colorful Sherpa town well known as one of the trading places in High Himalayas as far as up to Tibet. The view of Mount Everest from Tengboche Monastery is Panoramic. Higher up the Khumbu Valley, the trail heads to Kalapathar ( 5545m), the best view point on earth for the stunning views of 360-degree Himalayas panorama, including the world’s highest Mount Everest 8848.86m. Everest Base Camp Trekking Day to Day Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and drive to at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Rest day in Kathmandu. Overnight in hotel.
Day 03: Flight to Luk-la 35 minutes and (2,610m), 2/3 hrs. (7.5km). Night at Phakding in lodges.
Day 04: Phakding trek to Namche (3440m), 6/7 hrs. (10km). Overnight in lodges.
Day 05: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar. Overnight in lodges.
Day 06: Namche trek to Tengboche (3,860m), 4/5 hrs. (9.5km). Overnight in lodges.
Day 07: Tengboche trek to Dingboche (4410m), 7/8 hrs. (18km). Overnight in lodges.
Day 08: Acclimatization day in Dingboche. Overnight in lodges.
Day 09: Dingboche trek to Lobuche (4910m), 4/5 hrs. (8km). Overnight in lodges.
Day 10: Lobuche trek to Gorekshep (5,160m). At noon trek to Everest Base Camp (5350m), 7/8 hrs. (13km). Overnight in lodges.
Day 11: Gorekshep hike to Kalapathar (5545m) and trek to Pheruche [4210m], 6/7 hrs. (15km). Overnight in lodges.
Day 12: Pheruche trek to Phortse (3860m), 6/7 hrs. (10km). Overnight in lodges.
Day 13: Phortse trek to Namche Bazar 6/7 hrs. (10km). Overnight in lodges.
Day 14: Namche Bazaar trek to Luk-la 7/8 hrs. (18km). Overnight in lodges.
Day 15: Luk-la to Kathmandu by plane (35 minutes). Overnight at hotel.
Day 16: Rest Day in Kathmandu. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 17:Transfer to the Airport for final Departure.
