Gurung Heritage Trail is newly trekking trail in the Annapurna region called Gurung heritage trail trekking. Their religion will make you love with Nepal and Nepalese culture. The trek offers an experience of the first plane on a lifestyle of Nepalese culture where people with their own original culture, original traditions and their own festivals are still alive and saved in very remote mountaineering region of Nepal at surrounding Gurung villages. Since time many male Gurungs join in army force of Nepal, India, British army, Singapore police and leave home when they are young, women take a predominant role in Gurung society. Every village has a mother’s group also known as” Ama Samuha” where mothers are active, take initiatives and dedicate their time to development activities, income generation activities, cultural programs and conflict management in family and society. The view from the villages stretches is Himalchuli and Manaslu (8156m), Buddha Himal (6673m)to the northeast Mt. Lamjung and Annapurna II to the north and Mt. Machhapuchhre and Annapurna South to the Northwest. The approach to Ghalegaun-Ghanpokhara is a wonderful experience. The trekking route passes through the dense forests, villages and awesome waterfalls.
Day to Day Itinerary:-
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350 m). Night in Hotel.
Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu. Night in Hotel.
Day 03: Travel to khudi (800 m) by Transportation (7/8 hours). Night in lodge.
Day 04: Trek to Ghale Gaon (2100 m), 6/7 hours. Night in lodge.
Day 05: Today honey hunting also in different places and return to Ghale Gaun at the end of the day. Night in lodge.
Day 06: Trek to PasGaon .6/7 hours. Night in lodge.
Day 07: Pasgaun to Pakharikot or Nanngdidhar.5/6 hours. Night in lodge.
Day 08: Trek to Thumsikot (1150 m) then drive to Pokhara.. 6/7 hours .Night in Hotel.
Day 09: Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus, 7/8 hours. Night in Hotel.
Day 10: Free day in Kathmandu. Night at Hotel.
Day 11: Transfer to the airport, Departure to your Destination.
