Singu Chuli Peak Climbing 6501 m.

Asian Mountain Adventure offers a climb of Singu Chuli Peak Climbing formerly known as Fluted Peak located in the heart of Annapurna Range within the surroundings in Annapurna basecamp is an attractive mountain to climb. Singu Chuli is a magnificent looking peak that seems much more daunting viewed from Annapurna base camp than its height suggests. Many routes are possible but the south ridge dominates the eye. Combined with Tharpu Chuli, its much easier near by. It is a part of the ridge line extending south from Glacier Dome and sharing it with another attractive peak Tent Peak or Tharpu Chuli . This trek is strongly recommended for excellent mountain views. All peaks must be climbed with a well climbing trained guide. Singu Chuli (6501m), formerly known as Fluted Peak is the highest among the “Trekking Peaks” in Nepal. Wilfred Noyce, the first man to climb this mountain with David Cox, compared its beauty with Indian’s highest and probably the most beautiful peak, Nanda Devi will enjoy the great cultural diversity in Ghandurk, Chomorong & Ghorepani before entering Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) Base Camp. You can enjoy the panoramic views of the world’s highest mountains such as Annapurna I, Annapurna III and other peaks.

Singu Chuli peak is situated in the Annapurna Sanctuary adjoined to Tharpu Chuli peak. Vertical walls near the summit pose some technical challenge on this climb. This climb is suggested only to people with some alpine and ice climbing experience. Arrive at the Base camp of Singu Chuli after walking up the Modi Khola gorge to the Annapurna Base camp, at around 4130m and then establish two higher camps, one at 4900m at the approach of North East face and a higher one at 5500m, on the North East face of the mountain before the summit is gained. trek starts from Pokhara. This combination of pretty villages and terraced fields of millet and rice, coupled by the majestic splendor of Machhapuchhre (6,996m), Annapurna I (8,091). As the gorge widens, we ascend to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700m) on the lateral moraine of Annapurna South glacier. When reach see with 360 degree views of Himalayan peaks. We walk out along a different route to our approach and enjoy the views of Annapurna I from a different angle. A short diversion up to Poon Hill (3,210m) chance to obtain great views of another Himalayan giant Dhaulagiri (8,167m)and many more… The sunrise views from here are super nice. The extreme altitude, weather, cold and other mountaineering hazards ensure high altitude climbing has unavoidable risks at the best of times, members of expeditions need to be aware of these difficult and accept that they are an integral part of high altitude mountaineering.
