Nagarkot
Nagarkot is one of the top hill in Kathmandu valley. It is located northern rim of Kathmandu valley, nagarkot is popular designation with overnighters who come for sunrise and sunset view and enjoy a quiet retreat from the city. It is just 30 km. east from Kathmandu city 20 km. northern from bhaktapur city. Its elevation 2,195 meter, is a scenic spot in bhaktapur district. We can see clear and excellence mountain view and other snowy hill perfectly form nagarkot height. It is famous for the Mountain View and sun rise sunset view in Kathmandu.
In spring season most by the different kinds of flower makes beautiful than beauty. Nagarkot is as renounced for picnic spot also, most of the city people take it as picnic spot its natural beauty attracts everyone easily. Don’t expect a lot of action. Nagarkot is a pseudo-resort rather than an indigenous village, little more than a bazaar, a bus stop, and two dozen or so hotels and guest houses. Those along the ridgeline offer equally spectacular views, stretching from Manaslu and Ganesh Himal in the west, through langtang and gauri Shankar to nimbur and karyolung in solu, Everest papers but just hardly as an unimpressive nub amid much larger looking and closer summits.
Dhulikhel
Dhulikhel is a famous mountain view point, hiking and biking Lula. It is located 5 km east of Banepa just beyond the Kathmandu valley rim. It is known as well preserve Newar town also. There are beautiful and old building in the town Mordren Newar style. It is approximately 1550 m height and it takes just 1hour drive from Kathmandu city. Dhulikhel is a most famous place for sunset and sunrise.
Dhulikhel is the most popular place to watch the sunrise and sunset view over the mountains, is at the Kali temple on the rob of the hill in the southest. Most of the visitors stay the nights for Dhulikhel, which allows time for a wonder around the old town, sunrise walk and fall day circuit of the surrounding country side as the culture, sites of Namobuddha and Panauti. Dhulikhel is less well served by tourist buses than Nagarkot, Local buses are slow, you can ask to be dropped off at the hotel along highway.
Daman
Daman is situated 80 kilometer south west of Kathmandu at an altitude of about 2400 meter. It is located on the tribhuwan highway in between of Kathmandu and the town to Birjung. Daman has some of the most trntastic views of the Gimalay as. It has a great view of the mountains from Dhaulagiri to hit- everest. Daman is half way a worth visiting point in kathamandu.
There is a viewing town that has a telescope to observe the scenery, on the side towards Hetauda, there are some interesting shododen dron fores is, which is especially worth seeing during spring . It takes about three hours from KTM and four from Hetauda. It makes a nice day trip from Kathmandu come here by car.
