Lobuche Peak Climbing 6119m.
Asian Mountain Adventure offers a climb of Lobuche Peak Climbing as an extension to our Everest Base Camp trek. The peak is an attractive summit and offers various routes for climbing. Stand a top the glaciated peak of Lobuche at (6119m.) for a uniquely rewarding 360 degree view of the Himalayas. We follow Everest base camp (5350m.) and Kalapather (5545m.) trek route up to Dingboche and than trek to Dughla. The base camp will be set up at (4,950m.) near a lake in a rocky hollow at the base of the glaciated South-West Face. The views of Amadablam and Tawache are superb from here.
From there you fly to the village of Lukla the gateway to Everest’s Khumbu Valley. The quiet and slow-paced life of the Khumbu will feel like a different world, especially in comparison to the hectic city life of Kathmandu. There are no road and no vehicle transportation in the Khumbu region, just walking trails, yaks donkey and your own two feet. It will really feel like living in the heaven as it is far from the city areas.
Day to Day Itinerary:
Day 01: Arival Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 02: Rest day in Kathmandu. Overnight in hotel.
Day 03: Kathmandu–Lukla [2800m] by Flight. Trek to Phakding [2650m], 2/3 hrs. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 04: Phakding Trek to Namche Bazaar [3440m], 6/7 hrs. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 05: Rest at Namche Bazaar for Acclimatization. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 06: Namche Bazaar Trek to Tengboche, [3860m], 5/6 hrs. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 07: Tengboche Trek to Dingboche, [4410m], 5/6 hrs. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 08: Rest at Dingboche for Acclimatization. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 09: Dingboche Trek to Lobuche [4930m], 4/5 hrs. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 10: Lobuche Trek to Gorekshep [5180m]- Everest Base Camp [5350m], 6/7 hrs. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 11: Gorekshep hike to Kalapather [5545m], 6/7 hrs trek to Lobuche High Camp. At tented camp.
Day 12: Summit lobuche Trek to High Camp [6119m] , 8/9 hrs. At tented camp
Day 13: High Camp Trek to Pheruche [4200m], 4/5 hrs. At tented camp
Day 14: Pheruche Trek to Namche, (6/7 hrs). Overnight in Lodge.
Day 15: Namche Trek to Luk-la, (6/7 hrs). Overnight in Lodge.
Day 16: Fly to Kathmandu, (35minutes). Transfer to Hotel.
Day 17: Rest Day in Kathmandu. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 18: Transfer to Airport for Final Departure.
