Lower Dolpo Trekking
Lower Dolpo Trekking is another beaten and interesting driving from Kathmandu going through nice village in the beginning and through high and remote area and passes later and finally come down to Juphal where we catch flight to Kathmandu. The route goes through high passes and very remote area of the country so we are rewarded with excellent view of mountain and virgin Tibetan culture on the way.
Lower Dolpo Trekking as this is Nepal’s one of the most demanding trek and goes through Numala & Bagala pass and remote area of the country where we should make lot of ascend and descend we, therefore recommend to attempt only for experience trekkers.
Day to Day Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer in Hotel. Overnight in hotel.
Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu. Overnight in hotel.
Day 03: Fly from ktm to Nepalgunj to Juphal and trek from Juphal to Dunai 2150m, 3-4 hrs. At tented camp.
Day 04: Dunai trek to Tarakot (2540m), 5/6 hrs. At tented camp.
Day 05: Tarakot trek to Laina Odar (3375m), 4/5 hrs. At tented camp. .
Day 06: Laina Odar trek to Toltol (3523m), 6/7 hrs. At tented camp.
Day 07: Toltol trek to Dho Tarap (3950m), 6/7 hrs. At tented camp. .
Day 08: Rest day in Dho Tarap for acclimatization.at tented camp.
Day 09: Dho Tarap trek to Numa La Base Camp (4350m), 4/5 hrs. At tented camp.
Day 10: Numa La Pass trek to Danighar ((4510m) via Numa La Pass (5310m), 6/7 hrs. At tented camp.
Day 11: Danighar trek to Temche/Yak Kharka (4000m) via Baga La Pass (5170m), 5/6 hrs. At tented camp.
Day 12: Yak Kharka trek to Shey Phoksundo Lake (3600m), 4/5 hrs. At tented camp.
Day 13: Explore around Shey Phoksundo Lake. At tented camp.
Day 14: Shey Phoksundo Lake trek to Chhepka (2678m), 5/6 hrs. At tented camp.
Day 15: Chhepka trek to Juphal (2475m), 5/6 hrs. At tented camp.
Day 16: Juphal to Nepalgunj than afternoon flight back to Kathmandu. Overnight in hotel
Day 17: Free day in Kathmandu. Overnight in hotel
Day 18: Transfer to Airport for final Departure.
