Chitwan Jungle Safari is the most popular destination for Jungle Safari tourist wanting to have a good experience of the regions wildlife. It was declared a national park in 1973. In 1984, UNESCO designated it as Natural World Heritage Site. The park offers protection to 56 species of mammals including the one horned rhinoceros, Bengal Tiger, leopard, sloth bear, wild elephant, striped hyena, Gangetic dolphin and wild bison. There are an estimated species of birds, 126 species of fish, 590 species of butterflies and 47 species of reptiles in the park. May the best safari in the world.
Day to Day Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel. overnight in hotel.
Day 02: Rest day in Kathmandu. overnight in hotel.
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara (900 m) 7/8 hours by tourist bus. overnight in hotel.
Day 04: Drive to Nayapul (1010 m) and trek to Hile / Tikhedunga (1570 m) 3 hours. overnight in lodge.
Day 05: Hile / Tikhedunga Trek to Ghorepani (2810m) 6/7 hours. overnight in lodge.
Day 06: Early morning hike up to Poon Hill (3210 m) and trek to Tadapani (2610 m}.overnight in lodge.
Day 07: Tadapani Trek to Ghandruk (1900 m) 3/4 hours. overnight in lodge.
Day 08: Ghandruk Trek to Nayapul (1010 m) and drive to Pokhara.1:30 hrs. or direct by private vehicle from Ghandruk. overnight in hotel.
Day 09: Drive to Chitwan national park/Sauraha, 4/5 hours short programmed. overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Full day Activities in sauraha like Canoning ,Bird Watching, Elephant bathing , jungle walking, Elephant Safari, Tharu Cultural, Visit Government Elephant Breeding Centre Etc. overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Drive back to Kathmandu,. 5/6 hrs. overnight at hotel.
Day 12: Rest Day in Kathmandu. overnight at hotel.
Day 13 : Departure to your Destination or participate with other activities.
