After a 35 minute flight from Kathmandu landing to at Luk – la tiny airstrip, the adventure really begins. We spend the next few days trekking and interacting amongst the mountain people also known as Sherpa’s we stay at local lodges and trek into the heartland of their villages. Along the trek we will pass Buddhist monasteries with the views of Everest and other snow towering mountains getting closer by the day. We will have rest days in the villages of Namche bazaar that will allow us to explore the region and to acclimatize, which is very important. After trekking to Gokyo Ri (5350m), we return at a leisurely pace back to Namche and Lukla via Cho la Pass (5350m) and EBC with Kalapathar for our flight back to Kathmandu. Gokyo Lake Cho la  Pass Trekking  Day to Day Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu –Drive to at Hotel overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 02:  Rest day in Kathmandu, Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Flight to Lukla from Kathmandu / manthali  35 minute flight. Trek to Phadking (2650m), 2/3 hrs. Overnight in lodges
Day 04: Phadking  Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m), 6/7 hrs. Overnight in lodges.
Day 05: Acclimatization in Namche B azar (3440m). Overnight in lodges.
Day 06: Namche trek to Dole (4000m), 5/6hrs. Overnight in lodges.
Day 07: Dole trek to Machhermo (4410m), 4/5 hrs. Overnight in lodges.
Day 08: Machhermo trek to Gokyo (4750m), 3/4 hrs. Overnight in lodges.
Day 09: climb the Gokyo-Ri (5350m), trek to Thangnak. (4750m/15580ft), 6/7 hrs. Overnight in lodges.
Day 10: Thangnak Trek to Dzongla via Cho la Pass (5350m). Overnight in lodges.
Day 11: Dzongla Trek  to Gorekshep (5140m) via Lobuche. (4940m) and hike to Everest Base Camp (5350m), 8/9 hours. Overnight in lodges.
Day 12 :Hike to Kalapatthar (5545m.) and trek to Dingboche (4410m), 6/7 hrs. Overnight in lodges.
Day 13: Dingboche Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m), 6/7 hours. Overnight in lodges.
Day 14: Namche Bazaar Trek to Lukla, 6/7 hrs. Overnight in lodges.
Day 15: Lukla to Kathmandu/Manthali, 35 minute by flight. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 16: Rest Day in Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 17: Transfer to Airport for final Departure.
